isolate and assimilate

A good book on China purchased for a course the contents are explained very well. Establishes a trend from a historical POV and speculates the thought process, during other incidents within China. Often issues of separatist and radical mindsets are left to the more exposed countries while China worked within itself and often from the public eye to isolate and assimilate those behaviors into a one thought process for the mother land.
